The studio is open to the public from 10 to 4 most days from June 15 - November 15. Please call us on the toll free number before coming to make sure we will be there.

Directions to Studio in Mt. Vernon

From Augusta: Take Route 202 from Augusta towards Winthrop. At Manchester you will come to two sets of lights. At the second light turn right onto Route 41. Stay on Rte. 41 through Readfield and Kents Hill (bearing right at the Y in Kents Hill as this is where Route 41 and Route 17 separate, with Rte. 17 to the left. When you enter the village of Mr. Vernon, Route 41 takes a 90 degree left and climbs a steep hill. From this point we are about 2 miles out of the village on the left side. There is a sign saying "Maine Bone Carving" at the entrance to our driveway. The first building on your right is the new studio.

From Farmington:Take Route 2 South heading towards Norridgewock. Turn onto Route 41 at Farmington Falls. Stay on Rte. 41 and go through Vienna. You will see Flying Pond on your right. Just beyond the pond look for the "Maine Bone Carving" sign on your right. The studio is the first building on your right after you turn into our driveway.

From Waterville: Take Exit 33 off Interstate 95 heading towards Oakland. Stay on Route 11 until you intersect Route 27. Turn right on Route 27 heading towards Belgrade Lakes. Turn left onto the Castle Island Road. When you come to the Rome road, turn left.Stay on this road until you get to Mt. Vernon village and then turn right when you get to the Mt. Vernon Country Store. The studio is about 2 miles out of the village on the left side. There is a sign saying "Maine Bone Carving" on the left. See above.
